Jopwell

BRANDING, PRODUCT DESIGN, STRATEGY

Jopwell is the leading recruiting platform for Black, Latinx, and Native American students and professionals. At Jopwell, I led product and design, managing a team of designers and engineers to redesign and revamp the Jopwell platform. In addition, my team and I developed a second brand, specifically for the student branch of Jopwell.

While at Jopwell, I also worked to incubate new product ideas, such as an application tracking tool for candidates to track their own job search processes. We interviewed over 20 students and professionals, worked cross-functionally across all departments from product and engineering to account management and sales, and beta-tested a new tool with real members of our community. Ultimately, we decided not to move forward with the product, but the experience of working directly with our users to build something to help make their job searches easier was incredibly rewarding.
